I apologize for this update being so late. It’s been a long week. I did finish the first of my three compressed courses this summer and I’m working on trying to get a head start on the second of the three classes (the third one is a retake :/). That leaves me with a semester and a half until I graduate.
The Waldo Canyon Fire is 95% contained and it’s been raining off and on all day today. Talk about the biggest sigh of relief from the Springs. There’s the worry of mudslides and flash floods, but the consensus appears to be that they would rather deal with that than the fire. It supposed to rain all weekend, and I hope that’s true.
I have no idea how much progress I’ll be able to make on the next arc. School is increasingly becoming a huge priority for me right now. I’m at the point that I want to be done. Right now. And then go out and get a job. I’m so close to being done with university I can taste it.

Well then munch heartily! The great thing about writing is that you can do it any time. University waits for no man (or woman).
Still, I like writing and I almost feel as though I’m letting not only my readers down, but also myself by not writing; however, I do recognize that school is of the utmost importance. If I don’t do well at university, I won’t graduate. I have lots of ideas for the next arc, though, and I’m looking forward to working on them when time permits.
So am I!
You’re not letting anyone down, though I know that you will feel bad about it. I’m already feeling a little guilty that I’m not thinking about The Redemption of Erâth anymore (I am holding myself to the promise of not looking at it for a month at least).
Take care of yourself, and make sure you don’t run yourself into the ground.
